Releasing his eponymous debut album in July, Victor Démé, from Burkina Faso, has been playing for over thirty years. Developing a personal style which combines blues, Berkinabé traditions and Latin influences, he will be appearing at WOMAD Charlton Park this year and we predict he’ll be an unmissable highlight!

Je viens d'assister au concert de Victor Démé au CCF de Cotonou enfin un artiste africain parmi tant d'autres qui sort des sentiers battus xx fois des coupes décalés ou autres c'est dommage qu'il vient seulement de sortir son premier album à voir absolument il est génial et très entrainant a mettre dans tous les nights clubs et soirées entre amis merci le ccf de cotonou!
