Titi Robin: on the crimes of a state

French guitarist Thierry ‘Titi’ Robin has long been immersed in Gypsy, Indian, Kurdish and Pakistani traditions. He has studied, toured and recorded with greats such as flamenco star Camaron de La Isla, Balkan “Queen of the Gypsies” Esma Redzepova and Indian Kalbeliya dancer Gulabi Sapera. Mondomix asked him to share his reactions to the violent wave of repression against Travellers, especially the Roma, which is happening right now in France.
