Brazilian singer Maria Rita returns to London on 18 May 2010

Glamorous star of Brazilian pop arrives to give us a taste of contemporary samba. The daughter of cherished Brazilian music icon, the late Elis Regina, Maria Rita carries the legacy with style. She won three Latin Grammy awards for ‘Samba Meu’, the album which sold over a million copies and cemented her credentials as a rising star of Brazilian pop. Her upbeat live show is based on samba, and promises to be an energetic affair. Expect vocal sparkles.
