Thierry 'Titi' Robin plays live in the UK

Coinciding with the UK release of Gitans, one of his most celebrated works, Thierry ‘Titi’ Robin will be playing live dates this week. For over thirty years, guitarist, bouzouki and oud player Titi Robin has been creating music inspired by gypsy culture from Europe, North Africa and India. Gitans (originally released in 1993 and now available in the UK for the first time as a limited edition CD/DVD) launched Robin on the international scene as his extraordinary contribution to the celebration of gypsy culture began to be appreciated. The recordings include the spectacular Rajasthani Romani singer and dancer Gulabi Sapera.

On this tour Robin is accompanied by Alex Tran (percussion), Francis Varis (accordion) and Maria Robin (vocals/dance).
