Songlines Music Awards artists at WOMAD 2009

The winners of the inaugural Songlines Music Awards 2009 are Rokia Traore (Best Artist), Amadou & Mariam (Best Group), Jah Wobble & The Chinese Dub Orchestra (Cross-Cultural Collaboration) and Kiran Ahluwalia (Newcomer). A selection of winners and nominees will be performing at WOMAD in Charlton Park, July 24-26 2009, including Rokia Traoré, Dub Colossus and Los Desterrados.
