African Soul Rebels Tour March 2009

The triple bill is announced: Baaba Maal, Oliver Mtukudzi, Extra Golden

Baaba Maal, Oliver Mtukudzi and Extra Golden will play 10 dates across the UK in the African Soul Rebels tour confirmed for March 2009. Extra Golden, one of Barack Obama’s favourite bands, will open the shows - their Kenyan benga/Chicago rock sound gets our vote. Senegalese superstar Baaba Maal will be playing with members of his sublime acoustic line up Daande Lenol. And Oliver Mtukudzi, whose voice soundtracked the struggle for independence in Zimbabwe, is back with an inspiring set to shake any dancefloor.
