La Linea – shows announced

La Linea: the London Latin Music Festival 6 April – 19 April 2011
La Linea is back with another great panoramic programme of Latin music. As ever, the festival features big names and new acts from across the diaspora which this year includes Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Israel and UK. A double bill promising drama and passion kicks off the festival, with Ladino/flamenco singer Yasmin Levy and the extraordinary tango star Melingo. Other highlights include Ojos De Brujo’s 10th anniversary show, A Night of Twisted Cumbia with Mexican Institute of Sound, Axel Krygier and Pollito Boogaloo and the sweet nostalgic sounds of Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club® featuring Omara Portuondo.
