Separado!

In 1974 a strange apparition appeared on Welsh TV screens. René Griffiths - a Patagonian folk singer in a red poncho, rode in on horseback strumming his guitar and singing mournful tunes, and became something of a sensation. But who was he, and why was this Latin American troubadour singing in Welsh? Dylan Goch and (Super Furry Animals) Gruff Rhys’ film Separado! follows Rhys’ quest to find out.
