Once again the annual Flamenco Festival at Sadlers Wells (14-29 March 2009) promises some extraordinary performances, including ‘Mujeres’ which stars three generations of flamenco dancers: Merche Esmeralda, Rocio Molina and Belén Maya.
The programme also features the Ballet Nacional de España, Antonio Gades’ Carmen and dance legend Eva Yerbabuena. This is also a chance to see the stars of the new generation, including phenomenal young singer Estrella Morente.
