This year Senegalese star Baaba Maal released his new album, Television, an international pop adventure. Here’s the video for the title track, featuring singer Sabina Sciubba (Brazilian Girls).
On 24-26 December 2009 Baaba Maal will be performing in Podor, Senegal at the festival he founded, Blues du Fleuve (River Blues Festival) alongside many other West African artists including Bassekou Kouyate and Vieux Farka Toure.
