Artist - Music
Omar Sosa, originally from Cuba and born in 1965, is one of the most versatile jazz artists on the scene today: composer, arranger, producer, pianist, percussionist, and bandleader. He mixes a wide range of world music and electronic elements with his native Afro-Cuban roots to create a fresh and new urban sound - all with a Latin jazz touch. Composer and handrummer/percussionist Adam Rudolph has, for more than 30 years, appeared at festivals and concerts throughout North & South America, Europe, Africa, and Japan playing with many jazz and tradional ensembles. Originally from Chicago, he is famous especially for his innovative small band and duo collaborations with Don Cherry, Jon Hassel, Wadada Leo Smith, and Omar Sosa.
