This militant collective from Marseille invented a unique brand of raggamuffin and hip hop drenched in local humour and engagement. Born in 1984, Massilia Sound System has helped to resuscitate the local Occitan culture and its language by incorporating them into their music. Their live performances sometimes defy nature, such is their energy and humour.
