Maria Gadu

Maria Gadú has both youth and beauty (she is barely twenty) and she has already known considerable success in Brazil. Stars such as Caetano Veloso and Milton Nascimento have gone to see her in concert. Her first single, "Shimbalaiê", stayed at the top of the charts for five weeks. Her second, "Tudo Diferente", managed six! Her look would foretell a rocker but Maria Gadú is a true singer of "MPB" : Brazilian Popular Music.
