Loudon Wainwright III

The twice-Grammy nominated folk artist grew up in Westchester County (New York State) and Beverly Hills. He first took an interest in music when he bought Elvis Presley's record "All Shook Up". He started playing guitar around 1960 and was inspired on seeing Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival in 1963. He is father to musicians Rufus and Martha Wainwright.
