Son of singer Leon Bibb and nephew of the jazz pianist John Lewis, Eric started playing guitar at the young age of seven. At 16, he made his first TV appearance accompanying his father on the guitar. Later on, he spent several years between Sweden and France. During his time spent there, his musical universe was nourished and he fell in love with pre-war blues and folk music. A mixture of blues, R'nB, folk, and gospel, his music and his style are very personal and deeply touching.
