When the Zulu nation calls for an imbizo, it's generally a spectacular affair. These mass gatherings, often organised for social and political purposes, have an important role for this huge and powerful African tribe. That this nine-strong imbube choir from Bulawayo in Zimbabwe are called Imbizo is consequently significant. With their age-old a capella-style singing and energetically entertaining dance routines, they have won over both local and international audiences the world over.
