Et revoici l’été et son joyeux florilège de festivals. Pour profiter au mieux des rythmes qui pétillent et réchauffent, nous vous convions à suivre le guide.

Nous avons sélectionné trente huit rendez-vous aux vibrations larges et généreuses. Au propre comme au figuré, ces fêtes des sons et des sens vous porteront bien au-delà de l’hexagone. Du 25 au 27 juin Hippodrome de Longchamp (75)


Engagées, éclectiques, les Solidays promeuvent une fête consciente pour mieux lutter contre le Sida. Porté par l’association Solidarité Sida et ses bénévoles, l’événement qui depuis onze ans prend corps à l’hippodrome de Longchamp possède une aura qui dépasse largement le simple rassemblement de bonnes volontés. Créé avant tout pour récolter des fonds, ce festival a su développer une identité forte et réunir tous les styles de musiques.




Le petit truc en plus : L’entrée est gratuite pour les moins de douze ans accompagnés. De plus le festival dispose d’un espace enfants encadré pour les bambins à partir de trois ans qui propose concerts, activités manuelles, jeux, pratique musicale, lecture, maquillage…

Du 24 juin au 24 juillet Bourg en Bresse (01)


Colorée, ludique, pédagogique, l’image du festival Les Temps Chauds est très fortement marquée par son travail auprès des enfants. Axée sur la découverte de l’autre par sa musique, ses films ou sa cuisine, la manifestation ne fait pas qu’inviter des artistes venus des quatre coins du monde, elle leur fait rencontrer des enfants de l’Ain pour qu’ensemble ils donnent naissance à un concert appelé « Au Fil de l’Air ». Pour sa quatorzième édition, l’événement se tourne en partie vers l’Afrique.




Le petit truc en plus : A chaque édition, le travail sur l’année des enfants de la région et des artistes invités trouve sa concrétisation dans la sortie d’un album produit par le festival et le concert « Au Fil de l’Air ».

Ce festival est une véritable porte ouverte sur l’Orient. Outre l’exceptionnelle qualité de sa programmation et les lieux atypiques et chargés d’histoire l’accueillant, l’esprit simple et familial de ce rendez-vous lui procure une aura particulière. Offrant au public de très belles découvertes, entre peuples nomades, soufis éclairés, enfants acrobates talentueux, Les Orientales ont su se dessiner une personnalité précieuse pouvant envoûter en moins d’une seconde le simple passant et le changer en aficionado.

Le Montreux Jazz Festival est une légende. Il a reçu les plus grands musiciens du monde. Quarante quatrième année d’existence, pas une ride, et toujours cet esprit sans gêne qui lui permet d’aligner sur les scènes de l’auditorium Stravinski et du Miles Davis Hall des artistes aussi différents que Simply Red, Mark Knopfler, Keith Jarrett ou Paco De Lucia. Passé maître dans l’art du grand écart élégant, cet événement est toujours l’un des rendez-vous les plus attendus du mois de juillet.

La fondation Montreux jazz 2 offre deux lectures et propose de redécouvrir des chefs d’oeuvres de la littérature à la lumière du jazz. Le 3 juillet des extraits du Lolita de Vladimir Nabokov vont être lus par le comédien Mario Bucciarelli sur une musique de Stéphane Chapuis et le 4 c’est L’écume des jours de Boris Vian qui va connaître un traitement similaire.

La Méditerranée face au monde

Ici le sud est à prendre comme un synonyme de chaleur et de lumière. Au coeur du moyen pays niçois, les nuits et les musiques sont généreuses et la fête ouverte à tous. Des stars internationales et les lauréats du concours « Talents nuits du Sud » se partagent une affiche exigeante et éclectique. Aux prestigieux concerts à faible prix s’ajoutent deux jours de festivités gratuites, Les jours du Sud, les 10 et 28 juillet. La danse, les arts plastiques et les enfants y seront à l’honneur.

« Les Talents Nuits du Sud-Espace Culturel » est un concours qui permet de découvrir avant tout le monde et gratuitement une dizaine de jeunes artistes débutants. Les années précédentes ce concours a ainsi dévoilé les talents de Sashird Lao, Kabbalah ou encore Peter Solo et Karako.

L’écrin provençal des cultures du sud
Du 12 au 18 juillet Arles (13)


Du Théâtre Antique à la Cour de l’Archevêché, des parcs aux petites places de quartiers, les Suds font vibrer la plus grande commune de France aux sons des musiques du monde. C’est grâce à une programmation de qualité, à la mise en valeur de son patrimoine et à sa petite touche de flamenco que ce festival a su se construire une image conviviale et populaire, agrémentant le parcours des festivaliers de stages de musique, de danse, de calligraphie, de cuisine camarguaise et de bonne humeur.

 

 

 

 

Le petit truc en plus :
Pour continuer la fête après les concerts, direction les « afters » de la bodega, et pour se reposer le lendemain, les « siestes musicales » à l’Espace Van-Gogh, toujours agréables après un « apéro-découverte » qui a permis d’échanger avec les artistes du jour.

La Mecque du Trad’
Du 15 au 18 juillet Ars (36)

 


Le plus grand rassemblement européen de luthiers, musicienset danseurs des musiques traditionnelles prépare sa trente quatrième édition. Véritable institution, cette manifestation réunit la communauté autour de son salon de lutherie, de ses centaines d’exposants, et, bien sûr, de ses concerts et ses bals enflammés. A l’honneur, les emblématiques accordéons diatoniques, vielles à roue et cornemuses. LE rendez-vous des amoureux du folklore qui, comme chaque année, viendront nombreux.

Tout au long du festival se déroule un des plus importants salons de lutherie au monde qui accueille cent trente luthiers exposant plus de deux mille instruments.
